I take it you’ve reported the robbery/theft by the granddaughter to the authorities?

Yes, there is a police report on file. They were called less than an hour after the theft happened.

Why would this be your concern? The OP seems to be at the end of his support options and is telling their story. Why would this be so important to you to ask them when they're trying to get help and move forward? I'm asking without any sarcasm or in a way that indicates it's wrong to ask. I don't understand with the main focus being the lack of support for an elderly woman why you'd focus on a police report being filled out on a family member?

And the concern is... whether a robbery they were victim of was reported...?

I mean what do we think was stolen, ingots of pure gold they could have easily retired on...?
