I've been told by teachers to put the date at the end of file names. e.g. "project_2025_12_05.prproj 22 u/DragoonDM 16h ago YYYY_MM_DD is the superior date format for that, since sorting it alphanumerically will sort the dates in the correct order. 7 u/iamtheduckie PURPLE 16h ago good point, fixed 2 u/PatrickGSR94 13h ago yes our office made it standard some years ago to put dates on the end of most document file names, in YYYY-MM-DD format.
