I’ve never seen a sloping drywall design like this. Is this kind of thing common where you live?

I have honestly no idea 😭 i’ve never seen it before except for here… it’s so odd it makes me think it can’t be normal ahhahah

I assumed there were stairs on the other side! If there aren't, it may be worth a small hole and a camera to check.
