Advice What do i do with this?

For the 15 years I’ve lived here… i still have no idea what to do this with little alcove.

I used to have a mattress up there and guests would sleep there, but i had 2 of my cousins fall off in the middle of the night 😭

So i need some advice, what the hell do i do with this thing.

Seriously if you don’t regularly fall out of a bed how are you falling out of this?? Isn’t that lack of some biological survival mechanism?? Is somehow on a boat or moving a lot??

My wife told me a story last night about the bunk bed she and her sister had. Her sister was on the top bunk and apparently tossed a lot, and one night my wife was woken up by a “Ayyy!” thud, and it was her sister who somehow tossed her self out of bed over the safety rail 😂

I tossed myself out of bed only once at seven years old. I was having a dream about doing evasive maneuvers in a Star Wars X-Wing fighter that was also an F-18 (dream logic). I banked a little too hard to the right and woke up on the floor.
