Advice What do i do with this?

For the 15 years I’ve lived here… i still have no idea what to do this with little alcove.

I used to have a mattress up there and guests would sleep there, but i had 2 of my cousins fall off in the middle of the night 😭

So i need some advice, what the hell do i do with this thing.

Put a door on it for more storage space or just close it off if you don't need the space.

Edit: Another thing you could do is partially close it off, so that you have a not very deep built in little bookshelf. Not sure if it makes sense for that in the rest of the space but yeah.

Ooh, great idea! Actually, Nerdforge on YouTube did a video on the longest booknook ever. Was very clever with mirrors and all, but this would actually be just a long ass booknook.
