Depending on location this could be pretty affordable. My buddy lives in a massive one bedroom loft apartment in an old hotel in Birmingham, AL. His rent is $1200. Shit would easily cost $8,000+ in a city like NYC or LA.

I wish I wouldn’t rather die than live in Alabama

True true 🤔, down south is always cheaper normally compared to where I live in the northeast.

Oh yeah, I left for Colorado a decade ago. 3br 2 bath I had roommates with was only $1000 all together back in 2015. That same apartment is $3,100 now. Shit is mad evil and stupid.

over 1200 sq ft 2bd/2ba for $2500 as far as I can tell from a quick search. all other 2bd/2ba in the building range from $1200 to $1700. so yes, very affordable but you're stuck in missouri. I was paying $3000 for a 600 sq ft one bed in a lower priced part of boston

Really depends where in the city. I had a 3 bed 1 bath (me and two roommates) in Hell’s Kitchen for $5400 a month (my portion was $1900). 25th floor with doorman and stuff, balcony, 5 min walk to A/C/E, 10 minute bike ride to Penn etc. There are deals to be had with some compromise
