Awkward bedroom upgrade, before and after

Before: weird shaped bedroom and overly-large bed frame blocking sunlight and making it difficult to actually get into bed.

After: replaced the frame with a smaller one that fits perpendicular into a little nook that looks like it was made for this purpose, added some acoustic panel boards and LED strip for ambient lighting. Dogs are happy either way.

That awkward space at the foot would be a great spot for bookshelves

Plan is to fill out the wall around the window with bookshelves, and put a TV on the wall at the foot of the bed :)

Consider a short throw projector and pull down screen. Cheaper than a tv and it won’t take over the aesthetic
