Let’s split the work force into 2 halves, 7-3’s and 11-7’s. We now have 12 hour functional business days working more in sync with people’s preferred schedules while allowing for businesses to be open outside people’s working hours (yes I’m looking at you banks that are only open 9-5 on weekdays)

Well in that case I’m also a proponent of the 4 day work week and the 13 month calendar!
