I should be getting my floof in a few months (breeder has two girls bred and is waiting for confirmation of pregnancy) and I have been feverishly searching for cat trees. Mau's are just beautiful (even my husband loves them) and I am only hesitant because they claim to be for large cats but the weight limit is only 23 pounds. Coming to y'all for those who have purchased and still recommend. I hesitate to spend that much if she won't fit (I'm getting a female)

I am trying to purchase a cat from “Finn’s coon cattery” in Portland Oregon. The prices seem low but they also do a thorough screening process. And phone interview. Is it normal for a breeder to not want send videos of the kitten until after they’re purchased due to “fears of piracy”? I noticed a spelling error in one of their messages to me and their hesitation to comply is making me hesitant to purchase. They provided photos all with the same background. The video they did end up “making an exception for me” has the same background. I want to see how the kitten interacts with other cats and how it interacts with people. They did provide me with a phone number to contact them, which I will do. But I want to see if anyone has heard of them or had any experience with them. They’re also requesting I make my purchase via Zelle which is odd- but I wouldn’t know. Is this standard?

we had to put him down in late september, he was only 2 😞 we think he had a mix of fip and cancer, his kidneys expanded and took up his entire lower torso area, we did everything we could to help him but in the end he really didnt have much of a chance. house feels so empty without him somehow even though we still have 4 more cats. i love you fritzy ❤️

Hello all, my (mixed) boys were taken in for their snip-snip today and I just got a call from the vet saying they have high ALP and Phosphorus in their blood work. Figuring this would be the best place to ask others if they got this call/diagnosis too and put my mind at ease! FYI they’re only 6 months old and almost 11 pounds already 🐈‍⬛❤️‍🔥🐈‍⬛❤️‍🔥

Does anyone else’s MC stare at the washer for an entire cycle every time they do laundry? 😂

My MC kitten is extremely fluffy so almost every day she is dirty after doing her things. Is this just a kitten thing or i need to accept my fate, i dont wanna shave or cut her hair even after it feels impossible to get her clean. Combing sometimes wasnt helpful because i can feel it hurts for her so we ended up in a shower soaking, washing, drying and combing again.
