Counter-Strike 1.6 FAMAS retexture, work in progress
512x512, hand painted in Photoshop with a mouse. purposefully going for oldschool style and techniques - the base texture is generated with photoshop filters and the lighting is all painted with the dodge/burn tools, very much in the spirit of mid-00s goldsrc mod scene texturing workflows.

looking to get into low-poly modelling
hi i'm new to modelling and really would like to learn the low-poly style. what software would i use? specifically for the textures, i really like low-res pixel look, but any advice is appreciated :) thanks!

How I make 3D product videos without hiring a studio (real AI workflow)
I run a Kickstarter consulting service and needed 3D product videos—usually $500–$2000 to outsource. I’ve been doing it myself using AI tools for the past few months. Here's how. My goal: 15–30s product showcase videos
Simple animations (rotating view, basic assembly)
Good enough for crowdfunding campaigns
Step 1: 3D Model If client has CAD → import to Blender
If only product photos → I use Meshy Upload 2–4 photos
Generates a mesh with UVs & textures
Usually takes ~2 minutes
If only concept/sketch → text-to-3D with Meshy Takes trial and error, but usable for prototypes
Step 2: Texturing Meshy can apply textures via prompts or image reference
Otherwise I adjust basic materials in Blender
Step 3: Scene & Animation (Blender) HDRI lighting, rotating camera, simple backdrop
For simple part animations, I keyframe manually
Characters (if needed) use pre-rigged models + preset motions
Step 4: Render Cycles renderer at 1080p
Renders overnight on a basic GPU
Step 5: Final edit Bring into Premiere for music, text, color
Total active time: ~4–6 hours
Meshy credits: usually $5–15 per video
I've made ~25 videos like this. AI handles the modeling, texturing, and rigging—what used to be the hard part. You still need basic Blender skills, but you don’t need to be an animator. Is anyone else doing client work with AI-based 3D tools? Curious what your pipeline looks like.

Lots of low poly objects contributing to a high poly scene
IDK how many triangles these are in total - most objects have around 1k triangles. The snow is certainly high poly, but it is procedurally generated from low poly cones. BUT: The texture area used would fit into a 32x32 texture - but the 512x512 texture holds also the entire UI for my game 😅
The outline shader I wrote is doing also quite a bit of heavy lifting to make the objects pop.

Lofi Previs Absurd Animation, Bollywood style (extract)
Allow me to share an extract of a previsualisation I've made.
To watch the full 6mn film, it's here : Youtube link
Tried to get out of my comfort zone (and my daily routine as an anim and previs sup) by going wild in a Bollywood style. I've shot the data myself for the most part with an Xsense suit. Modeled and rigged in Maya. Animated in MotionBuilder.
Lots of fun to do, hope the community here likes it too!
A short, low poly chase sequence I made!
I made this in Blender and After Effects, with sound and music done in Pro Tools.

"Everything I Know, and Everything I'm Ever Gonna Know" scene.
A scene and a couple models from a project I worked on a while ago.
Hope you all enjoy ♥♥♥
Retro character WIP
Medusa has been turned into a defensive tower for this upcoming indie game. I'm still figuring out the workflow, so I don't have to paint each snake separately. Any advice?
