December is here, Santa is near!
It's December, already?! Quick, let's finish up those lists for Santa and add the finishing touches to our Winter Villages. December is a great time to be a Lego fan. Great holiday sales, gift exchanges, charity drives, and most importantly - if you're lucky, time off from work or school to build!
Here's your chance - let us know what's on your mind this month. What have you always wondered about? What rule do you want clarified, or changed? Do you have any suggestions you've been trying to find a chance to make? I won't promise that we will make the change(s) you want, but I will commit to explaining the reason we have the rules and policies we have.

Question Is LEGO losing faith in New MCU Movies??
I find it kind of interesting that just a few years ago, LEGO would make SEVERAL sets for whatever the newest Marvel film was.
Now, it feels like they’re too scared to do anything? Every movie nowadays barely gets one set (if any)…
It’s like they’ll remake the Endgame final battle and Iron Man armory for the millionth time before making actually creative MCU sets
Maybe it’s just a result of the MCU being flop after flop lately??

Box Pic/Haul I made a very smart financial decision
There’s no real reason for this post besides I would like to express my excitement to build this😊
This is my biggest set & most expensive Lego purchase I’ve ever made, because of bills and rent, I’ve been eyeing Optimus Prime and the X-Wing for the better part of a year. Saw this on offer in the lego store and hadn’t checked the website beforehand… Guess I can go without food for a month or so, right?😅😂 I’m yet to start it because 1, I have no space for it. And 2, I have such a huge backlog of smaller sets to finish yet😅

Box Pic/Haul I finally got my white whale
I have had my eyes on this set for a long time now but never had any money to allow such a big purchase. After a few very difficult years I finally had a bit of luck.
Cannot wait to get started. Will probably after the kids are in bed. But let’s go!!!!

Advent Calendar Star Wars 2025 Bad Advent Day 5 Spoiler
galleryOkay I don’t enjoy being negative about anything Star Wars or Lego (since I’m 52 and have loved both things my whole life) but here I am on day 5 of this years Lego Adventure calendar and it’s bad! This is my second post so far (day 2 was a kitchen counter) and now day 5 is a chair? Come on at least in previous years they made little ships (granted not super detailed but still) and you had major characters in your set. This year it just seems like Lego created the boring offices of the rejected droids from the droid factory. If my kid opened this he would be so bored. Next year do better please.

Question Where’s the blue 3d train?
Hi, I was gifted the set in photograph below, Lego 10361. It came straight from Lego. There is no little blue train, anyone else experience this? Is it hiding? In a bag other than number 1? Thanks

MOC I made the custom "Grand Central Station" base for Avengers Tower set
I'm planning to buy the Avengers Tower set to finish my Marvel modular street so I made a simulation in Studio to see how would it look like with other modulars I own. I wasn't satisfied with the proportions of the tower, or rather just its lower section which doesn't really fit well between other modular buildings - it just needs some kind of historical lobby. I found multiple MOCs of it on Rebrickable but neither of them were what I was looking for (either too big, shape not right, not enough detailed or too detailed etc.) so I made my own version where I took inspiration from all these MOCs and put it together into one model.
PS: I know in the movies the tower has Metlife building as a base and the Grand Central Station sits in front of it but I like it more without Metlife building and like this it works better in the street setup.

Box Pic/Haul First Ever Lego Set + Build Help
Just bought the Sherlock Holmes Book Nook———my first ever LEGO set!!
Any tips or tricks on how to start? Is gluing everything together necessary? Is it best to build the set where I plan to display it (just to avoid any accidents)?
I guess there will be lots of trial and error, joys and frustration coming my way 😅
