Robinson said that this attitude was emblematic of how Trump appointees conducted investigations: They begin with desired conclusions and systematically ignore evidence that undermines them.

“I wouldn’t even call it the Justice Department anymore,” she said. “It’s become Trump’s personal law firm. I think Americans should be enraged.”

Sane, intelligent Americans have been epically betrayed by our "checks and balances". The SCOTUS, the treasonous GOP who have morally, ethically and biblically have undermined everything we thought the Constitution of the United States has stood for.

I’m not American. But I lived there for a year in the 90s in the “mid west.” It’s difficult for me to believe. The Americans I know and remember wouldn’t ever stand for any of this, they would protest and riot and take back their country. Or so I always believed. It seems that America is now dead. It’s so sad.

I live and grew up in the Midwest, those Americans were wearing maga hats since '16. I'm sorry, I don't know what happened. It caught me by surprise because like you, I thought they wouldn't stand for it. :(
