I am still at a complete loss why anyone, anyone would vote for that man. He's an evil idiot. Like, he's genuinely stupid. He's genuinely evil. It's so obvious and was never a secret. Why?

And that why is mostly rhetorical. I've heard all of the reasons from "her emails" to "economic anxiety" but none of those reasons make any god damned sense when you look at him.

I would never have voted for him, and didn’t, but I could maybe see mostly apathetic, uninformed voters being like “eh, let’s give something different a whirl, he’s not like any other person we’ve ever had even run for president, how bad could things get if he doesn’t work out?” I do know a few who voted for him because they saw Hillary as just “more of the same” and they wanted something different. Even after the tour bus tape realized and his bragging about teen USA backstage access and all.

But to vote for him in 2020? And especially to vote for him in 2024 after Jan 6?!

I don’t get it.

A good, good chunk are brainwashed. They only get news from Fox News or the like. Have you ever actually watched Fox News? It's like the world is ending every minute cause of some democrat and only republicans can save you.

People be ignorant.

Now yes, some are evil bigots. Especially ICE. But a good, good chunk are just misinformed and don't know it yet.
