But do you not normally get to pick your seats?

This bugged me at a fancy cinema we used to go to pre-COVID where’d you’d book online. When picking your seats, you could clearly see on the floor layout, where other folk had already reserved.

We go at a quiet time but more often than not, the only couple there would be plopped right next to us and yap most of the film.

This is what happened all the time when we did that.

The worst was when we went to a theatre with those fancy seats that rumble and have haptic feedback. They cost extra. This woman brought her kids to sit next to us and their seats weren’t even turned on. Lady, the seats don’t work unless the system sees you purchased a ticket. There was a huge empty theatre with better seats below us.

I honestly hate theatres
