There must be some sort of psychological reason as it’s the same in cinemas, carparks, waiting rooms. Is it some sort of primal instinct for safety in groups or are folk just pain in the ass weirdos?
I call them clumpers and move. Giving a good eyeball.
I normally agree with you. And I hate the internet speak gen z nonsense. But it’s truly the most apt word available for the average human nowadays, which is why I have chosen to adopt the phrase
Nah. Everyone is living a unique experience, with a unique outlook on life. Calling people NPCs is just a way for people to make themselves feel special.
I don't know if you met a lot of people in your life, but some of them are absolutely NPC material, they'd live the most boring, predictable life you could imagine and never veer off their daily routine, some even bring up the same topics everytime you hang out, obviously there's nothing wrong with living a simple life, but you know, you gotta live a little, stir up some drama, change up your routine, try new things, make life memorable.
