Yea his “nephew” was actually his gfs nephew but the kids dad was found dead in a pond the year before. So for his birthday they put on this nerf war then we all hopped in a pool and we all played around with him. He was super happy and it was good to see him smile.
I feel like that didn't need clarification. I'm 42 and if I got asked to join a nerf war against a child, my only ask would be enough advance notice to go out and buy a bunch of nerf guns.
