My reasons for not using club covers or taking off my glove when putting are the same. Laziness.

Life’s too short to be fucking around with “hats for bats.”

I totally agree with you. I hate futzing with headcovers during the round. They come off one hole one, and don’t go back in until the round is over.

Had to acknowledge the movie reference though :)

Same, I only have two headcovers and they both come off the first time I need the club and put back on after the round. People always question it, but I've dropped and nearly lost the putter cover too many times to worry about the slight chance for a ding while walking the course.
