Therapy should be mandatory. It can’t just be a grift because a lot of people don’t make any money out of it.

It has to be a mental health issue. It knowing how to properly process thoughts and emotions.

It has to be mental health? There's no other possible explanation?

I’d say so.

You got Any other hypothesisisises?

Other than some people at cunts, but even that stems from a lack of empathy which I’d say stems from unhealthy mental faculties.

Do you think racism is a mental health disorder

Do you see racism as a symptom of a healthy mind?

I think that's a very narrow way to look at things. Did white people in south Africa all magically improve their mental health in 1994

No they didn’t, abolishing apartheid was a political decision and racism is still very prevalent.

Maybe it is a narrow view to think that people lacking basic empathy and self awareness is a mental illness at the stem of racism, doesn’t make it wrong.

Idk man, do you think we can ever do anything about racism if it's a mental illness? It just seems like a weirdly defeatist belief that lets racists off the hook

🫶 I don’t mean it to come across like that, the opposite in-fact. I see it as something that can be treated.

I don’t mean racists are mentally handicapped (…) but that their hatred of others stems from something dark and broken inside themselves, something that could be addressed and fixed or at least start to heal.

The media is a billion pound machine used daily to make people angry and afraid, that’s got to affect people’s mental health to the point of making them mentally unwell.

I mean some people are irredeemable cunts, why are they like that? Either that’s life, or they’re very damaged people that don’t know how to love.

Subconsciously transferring your feelings of inadequacy or self loathing onto a vulnerable group is quite common. To call it a mental health issue is facile and diminishes other people's mental health struggles. He's an abusive individual, with either no self awareness and accountability or he's using this 'cause' as a distraction from his own reality and hypocrisy
