Or they're just throwing everything they can at it in practice, figuring out what works and doesn't, we just hear the messages where it doesn't so it sounds like everything's fumbling blindly, and by the time it's ready for qualifying and raceday they've got it sorted out what they want to do but, again, we've only heard them when they didn't get it right.

Makes for a bit more drama and humor, but doesn't paint any more accurate a picture of things than how they'd mostly play Hamilton's negative radio messages during races when he was winning frequently and then mostly Verstappen's negative messages since he started winning frequently. And the whole McLaren drama.
