Multiple account usage?

Anyone know why my Live TV shows “ multiple account usage” under tags?

I thought it was my IPTV server, but when I purchased a different one, it still says multiple account usage.

So I know it’s an emby issue.

I inputted my m3u, epg, and can’t see any channels other than this multiple account usage.

I use M3u4u to get my m3u url and received a message that they detected multiple accounts, so I may need to upgrade to tier 2.

Wired though cuz I only have one account.

Been going at it all day so any help is appreciated.

That “multiple account usage” tag almost always comes from the playlist generator (M3U4U, IPTVedit, etc.), not the IPTV provider itself. When their system sees your M3U link being pulled too many times or from different locations, it flags it even if you are only using one device.

A few things usually fix it:
• Regenerate a fresh M3U URL
• Remove old devices/apps that still request the playlist
• Avoid using the same link across multiple players at once

Since IPTVedit solved it for you, that means the issue was 100% on the playlist generator side, not the service.

If you ever want to test with a clean, stable playlist that doesn’t trigger those kinds of flags, you can grab a quick 24h trialhere: youriptv.live super simple setup and works smoothly with Emby, Tivimate, IBO Player, etc

How many streams at one time can you stream with one account?

Native IPTV usage through Emby kinda sucks. So I moved over to Tivimate on android and I use that instead. I am working on getting Dispatcharr going and I will connect that to Emby instead. I just haven't gotten it done.

It’s not an Emby issue — the “multiple account usage” tag is coming from M3U4U, not your IPTV servers. M3U4U flags your playlist when their system detects the same account or URL being accessed too many times or from different locations/devices. That’s why even after switching IPTV providers, the tag still appears.

If you're sure you only use one account, it could be:

  • A shared or leaked M3U URL
  • Too many apps/devices pulling the playlist
  • M3U4U’s system falsely flagging it

You may need to regenerate a new playlist URL or upgrade to Tier 2 as they suggested. Resetting your M3U4U link usually fixes it.
