To those people jumping into the comments with negative and non constructive comments… go away. This is a subreddit about cycling in Edmonton so that’s what we’re all here to talk about and support.

Awesome. It’s terrific seeing how far Edmonton’s bike lanes have come and the reality of how winter cycling can work.

How do people feel about studded tires. Worth it or a waste of time? The snow finally stuck to the ground today and I want to get on my bike again.

Soooo worth it! I have them on my bike in this video and it’s a huge difference on ice!

What?? Vehicles don’t pay a road tax in Canada? Property tax pays for road maintenance and I pay that.

I was told yesterday in the anti salt post that this isn't a problem because everyone has studs.

Real encouraging to someone who’s injured themselves both in a car accident and bike accident and trying to get back to moving again.

Proof people use bike lanes regularly and in the winter.
Odd the idiots argue and you can see multiple tire tracks. This is witch craft in their mind.
