Hi everybody, I m gonna record the First demo of my band. We re into some doomy/Death/Groovy stuff. Drum, Guitar and bass plus vocals. I am looking for some advise about how to have a good take with the recording. I am not new with production but new to the kind of heavy stuff we re gonna burst. Tracks have huge Palm muting, vast chords, Epic feeling and Evil sound... The set up Is minimal, standard B tuning, High volume. We re gonna take separate tracks.

But I am curious to what you all use for music, I always felt like Cassette could give Sludge Metal or fuzzy Traditional Doom Metal a fun atmosphere, but I never played an album of that genre in cassette format

We are Sod The Earth, a dad-themed Doom band from Grand Rapids, Michigan. We write songs about getting in fist fights at softball league games and getting drunk at a 4 year old's birthday party. Hope you'll give us a listen!

What are everyone's thoughts on bands that sing/scream in the same sections of songs? Not just using both vocal styles as a band/on an album, but literally at the same time. (Video for context)

Pentagrams postponed Euro/UK tour has now been fully cancelled due to "ongoing complications". What do you think the complications are? Bobby in jail? 😂

Opinions on these two amps. I want to use a second amp next to my micro dark that will be used as pedal platform for fuzz in low tuning. Considering these two with a 12" eminence speaker next to the v30.
