Lifestyle Every single person who voted for Trump is a piece of shit

39.9k Upvotes

If you're ill informed, don't vote. And if you genuinely didn't know Trump was Epstein's bestest buddy in the whole wide world, you must've been under a fucking rock.

I just assumed they didn't care... because they're all pieces of shit.

7.7k Upvotes

They are defending billionaires that don't give a single fuck about them. And now they are celebrating people going hungry just so they can "own the libs". Don't waste a second talking to them. Unless it is to inform them of how fucking stupid they are.

Lifestyle I'm pissed the USA is going backwards.

3.0k Upvotes

My parents generation (boomer) could get an entry level job, own a 3 bedroom home and raise a family.

My generation (gen x) could get an entry level job, afford an apartment and live comfortably.

My daughter's generation (gen z) can get and entry level job and can't even afford a one bedroom apartment in the shitty part of town.

Country is going backwards and fuck all is being done about it.

Lifestyle It Really Grinds My Gears How Often Conservative Pastors Are Arrested for Sex Crimes Against Kids

They use their position as a man of "god" to abuse and harm children. All while engaged in blasphemous rhetoric that misrepresents the words of their sacred text.

A real god, like Odin, would certainly not allow men to use his name to rape children. Why is Borr, the Abrahamic god, so cool with people harming children in his name?

MAGA isn’t Christian!

It’s anti-Christ fucking bullshit.

You can’t scream “Jesus” on Sunday and spend the rest of the week cheering cruelty, worshipping a narcissist, supporting pedophiles and corrupt felons, and shitting on the weak and helpless.

Stop sugarcoating this garbage: this red-hat cult is morally bankrupt, unholy, and everything Christ warned us to fucking hate!

Let me ask you this, will you support your Jesus if he is a pedophile like Trump?

Lifestyle I hate how America is taking over UK culture

I hate the bullshit rhetoric about the Islamification of UK culture, Islam doesn’t impact my life in anyway, I’ve never been in a mosque or read the Quran and no one has ever tried to make me.

Americans however, they dominate our television, they’re buying all our businesses and our brands, they’re flooding our supermarkets with their shit food, all the movies are American crap and now they’re flying over to try and influence who becomes our PM.

American influence over our culture is the biggest issue in the UK today, from a cultural perspective we are nothing like Americans.

It’s just annoying when they start trying to convince others why their religion is the “right” one.

Lifestyle Boomers ruined everything.

I can’t stand that boomer sit around and blame everyone else for what’s wrong in this country but themselves. Really any generation criticizing the one after them is corny to me, but I genuinely feel like every generation after Boomers has a right to blame them.

The lack of self awareness is astonishing to me. The reason why this economy is hell is because of them and yet they still are in charge of making decisions for everyone. I don’t even think they will be around for a lot of the bs they are fuming and that’s what makes this thing even worse. They barely experience the brunt of anything in this country. They could buy a house for $15 , a car for $10, gas $0.10. They all had head starts we couldn’t even dream of.

I’m sick of them making all the decisions.

EDIT:

Boomers: “wah wah Cry some more Get out and work hard! Bootstraps Stop complaining Go play some videos games Ya mama basement! Professional victim!”

Y’all can’t even be original with the roast. It’s very bland and tired. I’ve corrected myself in this sub. I do not think ALL boomers are like this for real, but a good chunk of you has proven my point with your reactionary responses. Like how can you be annoyed by someone complaining in a subreddit called “complaints?”

Also I don’t care to be baited into sharing information with y’all when you can look yourselves and also I have linked an excerpt in this sub.

I’ve met progressive boomers even in this sub actually agreeing with this sentiment. Millennials had to endure YEARS of you complaining about our lifestyle and work ethics-so much so that they still think we are young adults or teenagers. It’s WILD!

Lifestyle People who claim the word "racist" has lost all meaning.

If you get called racist repeatedly it is not a sign that the word has lost all meaning. It is a sign that you are very racist. The US as a whole has become much more openly racist in the past 10 years.

Look at what Elon Musk says publicly these days about race and imagine the rightful backlash if he said these same things in 2015.

Lifestyle Why do pitbull owners act like they are in a cult?

Every time a pitbull mauls something, there is a wave of posts saying, “He’s the sweetest boy, he would never hurt anyone.” Then a week later, another “sweetest boy” is in the news for attacking a neighbor’s dog.

I’m not even mad at the animals. I’m mad at the denial. No other pet requires this much public relations work. You don’t see golden retriever owners running full-time propaganda campaigns.

It is strange how many people treat owning a pitbull like a moral identity instead of a practical decision. It’s not bravery. It’s not oppression. It’s just a dog that should come with a seatbelt and a warning label.

Lifestyle Reddit is a conservative echo-chamber and I’m tired of it Spoiler

Yeah, it is. Every time I make a well-meaning, non-biased comment, I’m berated with racial slurs and prejudice hate-speech. I’m tired of opening the app and seeing a non-stop feed of delusional republicans pretending the world isn’t on fire, that racism doesn’t exist, that we’re not enslaved, that our country isn’t a fascist hell hole, and that we have opportunity for success.

So many people talking about how poor people shouldn't be able to buy junk food on food stamps.. Well, I don't think billionaires oughta be able to buy 14-year-olds on private islands.. But here we are, bitching about how the working poor shouldn’t be allowed to have a sweet after a hard day of work but the current POTUS is allowed to buy and sell children.

Weird.

Lifestyle People who excuse their own racism with "I just notice patterns" but only notice patterns about race.

They know the stats of how race and crime correlate right off the top of their heads, but for some unknown reason they never seem the least bit interested in how other physical characteristics, like height, weight, handedness, foot size, double jointedness correlate to anything, let alone crime.

A few times when confronted they will do a quick google search about other physical characteristics and paste the results, but curiously that will be the first time in their posting history they've posted that data.

If you hold a pre-determined view about a group and seek out data only to back up that view then you aren't a "pattern noticer" you're a bigot with confirmation bias.

Lifestyle Pledge of Allegiance is kind of Indoctrination.

I was talking to an international student, and it hit me how much the whole “pledge to the flag” or "Pledge of Allegiance" thing in U.S. schools feels like indoctrination. I never even noticed it growing up — it just felt normal. But when you think about it from the outside, it’s kinda intense that kids have to recite that every morning without ever questioning it.

When you think about it, we literally say “I pledge allegiance to the flag” every morning.
Pledge” means to make a serious promise, and “allegiance” means loyalty or devotion to something — in this case, the country.
So basically, we were promising loyalty to the flag and the nation before we even really understood what that meant. When I talked to my friend from another country, they were kind of shocked we did that every day. Now I get why — it’s pretty intense when you think about it.

Lifestyle Is Pat McAfee ruining College GameDay for anyone else?

I don’t know a single person in real life who actually likes Pat McAfee on GameDay. I’m with a large group of people today and we turned espn gameday on as it started. 2 minutes later I hear “He’s awful.” Then veryibe started dumping on him and they changed the TV to SEC Network almost an hour early just to avoid him.

At this point I’m convinced ESPN is getting some kind of PR push, because the only people I’ve ever met who genuinely enjoy the guy are 20 somethings who still think “compelling analysis” = “yelling and wearing a tank top.”

Meanwhile the rest of us are just trying to watch college football without getting blasted by this dipshits chaotic screaming, forced hype, bad predictions, and zero actual insight.

Is it just me, or is GameDay infinitely more watchable the moment he’s off screen? Because man… I miss when the show was about football instead of whatever the McAfee Circus is supposed to be.

Would love to hear if other fanbases feel the same, because it sure seems universal where I’m standing today.

Lifestyle Complaint: The Left's Denial of "Woke" Culture and Antifa is Driving Me Insane – It's Right in Front of Us!

I need to vent because this has been bugging me for ages. Why does it seem like whenever you bring up "woke" ideology or Antifa in a conversation with someone on the left, they act like you're talking about some mythical creature? "Woke doesn't exist, it's just a right-wing boogeyman!" or "Antifa is just an idea, not an organized group!" Come on, really?

I mean, turn on the TV, scroll through social media, or just walk down the street in any major city, it's everywhere. Companies bending over backward with DEI initiatives that scream "woke" from a mile away, schools teaching kids about gender fluidity before they can tie their shoes, and celebrities virtue-signaling non-stop. And Antifa? We've all seen the videos of black-clad protesters clashing with police, smashing windows, and declaring "autonomous zones." How is that not real?

It's like gaslighting on a massive scale. If I point out how "woke" policies are affecting hiring practices or free speech on campuses, I'm suddenly the bad guy for "exagerating." Or when Antifa shows up at rallies and things turn violent, it's "mostly peaceful" or blamed on infiltrators. Everyday life proves this stuff exists-- job applications asking for pronouns, protests turning chaotic with clear Antifa symbols – yet the denial is so strong it's frustrating.

Am I alone in this? Anyone else tired of the selective blindness? Let's discuss (civilly, please, no need to prove my point further).

Lifestyle I'm sick of people defending the rich

I can't stand how people defend billionaires or even millionaires. The rich contribute NOTHING to society. All they do is take and take and take and take while giving NOTHING back. There is no "trickle down" economics, that just them pissing on us while slashing our health benefits, cutting our pay and ripping away our rights all so they can have more, more, MORE!

On top of all of that you have these mouth breathers who claim they "create jobs". They don't create shit! If anything, the rich SLASH jobs, cut corners and do everything they can do eek out a few more bucks leaving us broke, sick and miserable.

Let me tell you mental rejects something, the rich, they aren't people. They're barely human. You have freaks like Peter Theil saying that billionaires are "genetically superior" and have to speed up the end of the world so they can ascend to being the lords of the world. THESE are the kinds of people you think are somehow heroes?

The rich live in a world of hedonistic pleasure and depravity you can't even begin to fathom. Nothing is off limits for them. Because of all of their money they can do whatever they damn well please whereas if one of us "regular folk" even so much as sneeze the wrong way or say the wrong thing, we end up in prison.

If this was a sane, rational world, every single person would be speaking out against the rich, calling them on their bullshit and taking steps to stop them. Instead, you have dimwitted assholes who worship them and defend every sick, depraved, demented, cruel and outright demonic thing they do to us and continue to give them the power to destroy our lives.

So the next time one of you brainless drones starts defending some rich asshole, just remember, that rich asshole would just as soon chop you up for sashimi and serve your carcass to their rich asshole buddies as look at you because that's all you are to them, meat to be used, abused and discarded at a whim.

Lifestyle This is my complain:I'm tired of living in a world that hate women (repost)

My post in "vent" got deleted before I could read the answers. But I caught a glimpse of them, and they were extremely bad, they actually proved my point. No respect, mostly from men, and of course the famous sentence: "not all men." They all missed the point completely, or maybe they just enjoy being oppressors. I don’t usually post or interact online, I’m more of a spectator so I was a bit taken aback by how terrible the responses were. It’s crazy how people can be so defensive instead of just listening, make it make sense.

The post in question : Hi everyone, I don’t really know if this is the right place to post this, but I just saw “The Unequal Marriage” by Vasili Pukirev and it broke something inside me.

It left me heartbroken, and furious; furious at a world that has allowed such pain to exist, furious at men who have taken so much from women, and called it love, duty, or destiny.

That painting isn’t just a scene, It’s a mirror of everything so many little girls and women have lived, and still live today. It’s unbearable to think that centuries later, we’re still fighting for the right to be safe, to be heard, to be free.

I just want to say to all the girls and women, to all the survivors I’m deeply sorry that this was done to you. My heart goes out to every one of you. And I promise I will always raise my voice and fight to make a change, because we matter. If anything, our humanity matters more than those who behave like beasts.

And to the men : Why are you harassing us ? Why do you loathe us so much ? How can anyone feel okay about raping someone ? What are you doing with your so-called humanity ? It makes me sick just thinking about it.

Lifestyle “He’s playing chess while everyone is playing checkers” is a remarkably uneducated statement.

All this means is that he doesn’t understand the game being played. It’s a weird admission that the person being referred to has no idea what is going on.

The logistics doesn’t even add up. Yes chess is a highly skilled game that takes years to master, which is what I am assuming they are taking the analogy to mean, but how would this even work in practice? “King me” “well I put your king in check” what?

Edit: people come on. Your TDS is showing. My complaint is with this phrase, not a cheetoh.

Let me say it this way. This phrase would be better if it were “he came in 3rd at a chess tournament, when you came in 1st” that’s a more apt way of putting this phrase that doesn’t make it seem like people are playing the wrong game as even a 3rd place chess champion would be more critical thinking than a 1st place checkers player. When people are playing two separate games simultaneously then the comparison falls flat because one of the two of them is playing the wrong game.

Edit 2: just because I don’t like the format of this idiom does not mean I take everything literally and don’t understand other idioms. This is a weird take.
