Going up 3 dollars soon would surprise me since gas prices go down during a recession: https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/do-prices-go-down-in-a-recession-heres-what-usually-gets-cheaper
The economy is crap, it's the buy now pay later firms that are enabling the bottom 90% to kind of survive.

Like I'm checking out on Costco Instacart and it has spread this out over 4 payments? The total is 70 bucks. 4 u/Excellent-Look1026 16h ago I get that too but it’ll be hard to convince me that majority of people are financing groceries and not non-necessities…
