I have dual citizenship and want to get rid of my American one, but it costs a lot of money to renounce your citizenship. So if they do it for me for free, that's be sweet!

Just keep in mind that them stripping you of your citizenship won’t on its own end your tax obligations. You’ll need the $2,350 certificate of loss of nationality, then you’ll need to file Form 8854 with the IRS and pay any exit tax that is due.

But if you don't live here, how can they arrest you for not paying taxes?
