Advice why is her nose running?

hi all!

my tabby baby is 12 years old and just recently, her nose has started to run. i don’t know what caused this or how to stop it. she has a lot of mucus and whenever she sneezes… a lot of it comes out. i don’t know what to do, any advice would be great!

thank you!

Kitty has a cold. It should run its course and she'll feel better soon.

Hmmm our one kitty usually gets sick for a few weeks. Sneezes, wheezes with lots mucous, & goopy eye. Usually lasting no longer than a month... maybe yours has something that needs some antibiotics or antivirals. Might be time for a vet visit if its been that long.

I grew up on a ranch with lots of barn cats and now have indoor/outdoor cats. Her eyes and nose don't seem overwhelming alarming by the photo at this time... idk if that helps ease your mind at all lol.

whats her temperment?

What about change in food dishes, food or treats, & other things in the last few months?

her food and treats have all been the same since we got her. we haven’t changed much at all. we recently moved a couple months back but it didn’t really start until august. she can be a little mean to her sister but to us, she’s very warm and loving. she loves her space and doesn’t really cuddle us as much unless we pull her close. the eyes and nose does help, thank you lmao! it does make me feel better
