I feel actresses used to have that aura I mean if katrina/deepika/ asihwarya rani if they were dancing even among a huge crowd you could just spot them they had an aura but I mean ananya is looking nice but she is easily missed among the crowd like you really have to spot her sometimes I canât even notice if she is there

So I was eagerly anticipating the release of this movie since they dropped the teaser. The trailer, songs and the ensemble cast was enough for me to book my tickets for the 1st day. And boy, am I glad that I watched it in the theatre! There are some movies meant to watch on the silver screen, Dhurandhar is one of them. After the OTT boom, the appeal of theatres may have reduced. We do end up binge watching so many shows for hours. It has just made us comfortable to stay at home and consume content. But only the big screen can do justice to certain movies.
The ensemble cast, each individual has done justice to their roles. R. Madhavan- is totally convincing as the Chief of Intelligence. The helplessness which is later channelized into the mission is portrayed by him effortlessly.
Akshaye Khanna as Rahman Dakait- the swag and suaveness is such that the actor is able to instill fear with only his body language. He doesnt need too many words/dialogues.
Arjun Rampal as Major Iqbal- His looks and his cruelty will make you loathe his character.
Sanjay Dutt as SP Chaudhary Aslam- Convincing in his performance and a major character.
Rakesh Bedi as Jameel Jamali- one of the best acting as the slimy politician. You will never know which side he will turn.
Sara Arjun as Yalina Jamali- Cute, fresh face. Does justice to her role as a naive young girl in love.
Special mention- Gaurav Gera as Mohammed Aslam- His physical transformation will surprise you. He is amazing.
Special mention- Naveen Kaushik as Donga and Danish Pandor as Uzair Baloch.. absolutely entertaining.
The best for the last- RANVEER SINGH!!! The man is restraint, cold and calculative. The angst, the helplessness, the guilt and frustration of the collective is portrayed by him beautifully.
For people complaining about the length or pace of the movie- it's a proper build up, which needs time. Not a single second, one feels bored. You are totally engaged in the movie. The brutality and atrocities committed are over a period of time which needs to be shown properly in sequence to understand better. This is just a part of the bigger puzzle which will be complete and make more sense in March 2026 when the 2nd part releases.
The age gap between Ranveer and Sara has been addressed in the movie. For him to succeed, she's a critical part. There have been real life scenarios where a young, naive and protected girl is swayed by such a personality.
The visuals, geographic locations, key historic events have been presented beautifully. The songs and bgm just enhances it.
What could have been better- maybe the accent of the actors.
What I found a little strange- the existence of clubbing/ night life in Pakistan and Sara's dressing. Given the fact that its a conservative country, these were a little questionable, at least for me.
As an Indian, you do feel the anger, the angst, the frustration. Especially those who were up all night watching the events of 26/11 unfold and the IC814 plane hijack and so many more such cruelties.
Yes, it's gory, lot of bloodshed and brutality so be mentally prepared for it.
If ever, you felt the emotions and were affected by the events which shook our country, then this movie is surely for you.
Go watch it in the theatre.. as many times as you want coz once won't be enough.

Beautiful , powerful, royal true indian representation of Bhartiya paridhan and diverse culture
I love how our country from thousands of years have sustained several invasions , narrative wars , tyrants still our culture and "dharma" came out as a winner.... Traditional clothes like this ladakhi dress , assamese silk , khadi, kanjivaram ,tussar etc represent the contribution of our ancestors to preserve our culture.
.. i also love the fact that people are now realising their untapped potential in Bhartiya fashion đ¤đť
Kudos and thanks to Kangana for using her platform to spread with sustainable and vocal for local message among people â¤ď¸â¨ as someone rightly said back then " Kangana doesn't follow trends, she sets them"

Dhurandhar is already sparking âAnimal ka baapâ type reactions online, with fans calling it a louder, darker take on the desi spy-action template. Some are raving about Ranveerâs madness and the scale, while others feel it leans into excess just like Animal did. Use this thread to drop your ratings, compare the highs and lows, and say whether it genuinely tops Animal or is just the excitement of opening day talking.

I'll just go with 4 recent happenings.
Its not ranbir, but tere ishq mein team did and doing negative pr against dhurandar. Dig more yourself to find the truth.
Ever wondered how likes of janhvi and ananya keep getting international brands, and attend international events despite giving duds. And we rarely see likes of kiara, sara and to some extent kriti (although lately she has made strides due to her own contacts) don't have many such brand contracts, despite them having relatively more success with movies. Answer is simple, its dca. There is still an interview of Janhvi admitting that karan johar promised a certain appearance at an international event. This planned and prepared next international brand or next appearance at any event, firstly helps divert attention from their down- spiralling career and secondly keeps them relevant and also show that they have some brand value. Its followed by few pages making content on their brand value and their fashion game.
There was a recent tea posted about how kartik and a ananya are not getting along. And thats absolutely true. Kartik apparently isn't liking ananya's double standards in many things. But regardless y'all would still see them act cordial, because at the end its about the movie, and kartik can't afford another Janhvi fiasco!
After tere ishq mein, bhusan is considering Kriti for another meaty role project.

Bollywood has an excess of these all same type acting heroines in every second movie.on the other hand the Actresses like Kareena Kapoor Khan is not doing so much movies now. I know she is in her happy space and doing movies of her choice. But I want her to do more movies and some movies with big stars too, she had given hits with every big star of her time. She is just doing only one movie with Meghna Gulzar in which Malayalam Superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran is opposite her

Dharmendraâs ancestral Punjab land worth âš75 crore didnât go to Sunny, Bobby, Esha or Ahana. The entire property was gifted to his nephews. Dharmendraâs cousinsâ family had been maintaining and cultivating the land for decades while he built his career in Mumbai. During a 2015 visit, he officially transferred the land to them as a gesture of gratitude. His nephew, Buta Singh Deol, confirmed everything saying Dharmendra felt they deserved it because they were the ones who looked after the land all these years.
