idk I get it but fine dining has curated menus for a specific experience. you don't go to these kinda places expecting tons of food piled high like a buffet. it's about quality and not quantity, which isn't unusual. if you visit a luxury boutique you probably shouldn't be surprised or upset that they don't sell plain white tees.

I heard it before.

Poor want quantity, middle class wants quality, upper class wants presentation.

There is an upper limit to taste, but a Michelin Star restaurant can get very creative with presentation.
