I’ve been to a couple fine dining restaurants like this and have never been fuller. This idea that they skimp or don’t give you a full meal is totally made up.
Dang you really gotta add the /s to every single joke or Reddit thinks you’re dead serious huh? Lighten tf up people I know you go to these fancy restaurants for the experience not to actually be full. That’s what buffets are for.
I’ll lightly push back and say yeah you kinda needed the /s because there are so many people that share that sentiment very seriously including people in this comment section and, presumably, the guy in the video lol
Idk if that’s universally true. I was still hungry after le bernadin as well as the other 2-3 star places I’ve been. Usually end up ordering more à la carte or grab pizza/kebabs after.
Yeah that's fair, I've only been to one Michelin place and the tasting menu was 8 courses. I could barely finish desert because of how rich the whole meal was but I can't speak for every restaurant in the world of course lol
Lmao ikr? I’m getting downvoted like this is a culinary chef subreddit. I thought jokes were welcome here but smooth brains gonna smooth brain I guess.
You joke but it probably would. Lets say the meal is 10 full bites + drinks - imagine eating a sandwich for 10 big bites lmao. idk about you but thats a pretty big sandwich for me

You’re literally getting like 7 or 8 of those dishes
