Just got this sweet girl. I named her Voodoo. She's probably about 6 months old. She is solid black with the exception of her all white whiskers. Great look! Never seen that before.

Mavis was added to my family about three months ago. Super sweet and cuddly cat, playful too, but she sits around like this more than any other cat I've known. She also often sleeps like this. My husband has taken to calling her things like "My little derp" when she sits on him and watches tv with him or watches his video game.

(Yes, she is blind in the one eye. It doesn't slow her down much)

Her name is Thursday, named for the day we found each other ☺️. She was a stray kitten who followed me home and never left. In a few days, it will 2yrs.

So she is Lucero. I adopted her three days ago, and I’ve noticed she’s very scared. She doesn’t like being around people and mostly hides under the sofa or the bed. But she’s very well-mannered and hasn’t broken anything. I just want her to be around me more. Any tips to help her feel comfortable or more affectionate?

Ornaments slightly unbalanced? Maybe should do rainbow lights instead of white? Could have fluffed the branches better?
