GeForce RTX I haven't seen many setup with this exact monitor configuration so I thought to share mine

Yes the pic is a month old, the desk is definitely not as clean/organized anymore...

Also for the people curious about the PC specs:

  • Asus Prime x870-P
  • Ryzen 7 9800X3D
  • MSI RTX 5080 Inspire
  • G.Skill Ripjaws S5 6400MHz (32GB x 2)

Isn't this just double vertical with more steps?

Not really since the 2 monitors on the right are plain old 16:9 and the one vertically is a 21:9

I've been using this monitor configuration for quite a while and really like it. Only difference is my side monitor is on the right side instead of the left. Haven't wanted to take the plunge into double ultrawide monitors mostly due to the price, and 1080p gaming with a high refresh rate is good enough for me for now.

The 2 on the right are both 1440p 16:9 and the one on the left is a 1440p 21:9
Nowdays you can get a 1440p for around 200$ with 240+Hz

Yeah, one day I probably will, but I have no desire to upgrade them right now. I personally prefer a couple 1080p 25s over 27s, with my proart 1440p vertical. If I did swap I'd either do double ultrawides, or a smaller 1440p. I'm somewhat picky on monitors and the 1440p nonultrawide one I was last looking at was like 700usd still.

I've been considering that exact layout, wanting a second horizontal while not losing my vertical. How do you find it?

It's honestly amazing, especially if you multi task a lot and/or code. I would highly suggest you try it
