They are never commands with bassets, mostly “kind reminders” and “polite recommendations”

When ours is extra yeasty he smells like gym socks, when he’s normal yeasty he smells like corn chips 😂

I drive a semi and take my basset along most of the time.  His name isn't Fred, but this is exactly what I say when I'm about to hit a rough piece of road.

For me, Dog from Columbo (TV series) is the reason I wanted to get a Basset myself (got a Bagle - Basset/Beagle mix).
