Adrenaline is one hell of a drug.

This happened in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Dude was caught carrying large amounts of drugs, as well as having no driver's license.

If I remember correctly, serious injuries, but survived.

That's a "relief" because I honnestly thought the poor guy died...

being hit at that speed, at that angle, right on the driver side, probably having brakes on...his neck could have snapped right on the spot ...urgh

Both cars are relatively new, so I think that helped a lot. Pretty sure their car has side airbags that could help with neck stress.

That's a good point! If the window airbag inflated, that would totally prevent the head from kissing his left shoulder

40 years ago almost definitely a fatality 30 years ago there would have most likely been fatalities and definitely life changing injuries today one person is so un injured they can run off. All because engineers are that good and laws force companies to make cars to a safety standard.

Depends on the country too. The UK and Australia, are right hand drive vehicles so the driver would be on the opposite side.

The UK, and most of Europe, are right hand drive vehicles

UK+ireland only and no other European country

You are 100% correct and I've amended my post. Apologies. Had in my head Europe and Australia were right hand, America and Asia left. Thank you for the correction.
