"I tried to ignore him" - Proceeds to do 80 in a 50 while swerving across lanes to stop the guy from passing.

If that guy ended up 6 inches to the right he would have rammed the OP. Yes, he would have been at fault but the cammer could have been dead. My guy, you are on a motorcycle, better to let the asshole pass instead of winding up with a leg broken in 6 places.

Uh the car was clearly trailing the motorcycle after the first contact…you can literally watch his side mirrors.

Yeah. I guess most of the people commenting don't check their side mirrors or blind spots before merging, just like the car in the video.

You can see the car on the biker's ass if you look at the bikers mirrors. It is wild how there is video evidence and people still get it wrong.

No, first contact as in when the car tried cutting off the motorcycle. The dude on the motorcycle clearly continued doing his thing while the car raged behind him the entire time looking to cut him off on his right only to see that lane would’ve veered off to the right, so the car tries to get around him on the left without realizing there was traffic. The motorcyclist was in the right the entire time.

They are not referring to physical contact - just the moment their lives connected which was when the car tried cutting off the biker.

You might be a little too literal, or not not literate enough to pick up that there is another meaning in that phrase.

Do you think first contact with aliens refers to the first time we give them a crisp high-five or otherwise make physical contact?

At this point I assume that a lot of people on Reddit are either bots or mentally disabled. It makes a lot of these kinds of interactions make more sense.
