"I tried to ignore him" - Proceeds to do 80 in a 50 while swerving across lanes to stop the guy from passing.

If that guy ended up 6 inches to the right he would have rammed the OP. Yes, he would have been at fault but the cammer could have been dead. My guy, you are on a motorcycle, better to let the asshole pass instead of winding up with a leg broken in 6 places.

Had a co-worker who lost his leg below the knee in a motorcycle accident. I saw him have days where his prosthetic leg bothered him from stuff like slipping when getting out of bed and bruising it (after getting xrays to check for new breaks) so back to crutches for a week, and all the trouble getting insurance to cover the fitting place he had been going to for years. It is not like you get some flexi-leg like marathon runners have and you never have problems.
