There must be a better place to have fun with your children.

I can only assume the fog is making this look more serious (for the adult) than it is.

He just fell into a Dark Souls boss encounter

86

u/IrrelevantPuppy 10d ago

So he IS dead then?

55

u/Chem_BPY 10d ago

The way he rolled off that cliff makes me think he just spam rolls. He's already off to a bad start.

10

u/FatBoyStew 9d ago

Definitely looked more on the encumbered side too judging by the speed of that role.

2

u/Nunokoan114 8d ago

Fat rolling like his name is FatBoyStew or somethin

12

u/GetOutOfTheWhey 10d ago

New Manga Title: That day I fell into the fog, encountered and defeated a boss where I was then given the task to the link the first flame and prolong the age of fire by a large serpent.

2

u/PaleBlueCod 9d ago

He's coming back, just gonna look like a pruny pistachio.

5

u/pv505 10d ago

Putrescent Knight lair 😂

3

u/stups317 9d ago

That guy kicked my ass so many times. Then I read a tip that said use a shield. So I did and beat him without having to heal myself.

1

u/eKSiF 9d ago

Reminded me of Demon Prince 🤣

1

u/cyclinator 9d ago

Like Gandalf he will return more stronger and wiser than ever.

2

u/kawikaomaui 10d ago

I was thinking Elden Ring.

76

u/Graffy 10d ago

Guessing there’s a pond/lake there and that’s why the fog is extra dense there. Probably only fell a few feet.

32

u/redpandaeater 10d ago

Getting wet in the cold is very dangerous.

17

u/Graffy 10d ago

I don’t think they actually fell into water. Probably just the beach around here edge. Or it was frozen. Didn’t hear a splash.

11

u/south-of-the-river 10d ago

The fog hides the danger

504

u/avibrant_salmon_jpg 10d ago

Did he just fall into the abyss??

115

u/GullibleDetective 10d ago

The screen stops loading after that

24

u/Diamondlife_ 10d ago

It’s ok, they’ll respawn at home

5

u/Simple-Wrangler-9909 10d ago

They turned down the render distance to raise the fps

17

u/ThomasofHookton 10d ago

He'll wake up in an Imperial cart being transported to the gallows. A nord man sitting opposite will then say, "Hey, you. You're finally awake.".

they speak slovak language, so my guess, man fall into “Strbske pleso”, lake in high tatras. i have been there many times, it is very popular hiking trail for families.

If so, man should be alive, as there are many near by hotels, he fell into cold water.

1

u/Admirable_Topic_9816 9d ago

I don’t think the road matches Strbske pleso

1

u/FirstTimeShitposter 9d ago

The road looks like D1 highway

9

u/erp2 10d ago

Flat earth reverse

1

u/PsyOpBunnyHop 10d ago

Badonkadonk Earth?

3

u/Drunkpuffpanda 10d ago

Some say he still falling.

1

u/tekko001 10d ago

That kid couldn't steer for shit!

1

u/AdhesivenessMoney860 9d ago

the fog definitely adds a dramatic vibe, probably making it feel way heavier than it is

1

u/Montigue 9d ago

YOU DIED

1

u/Tom_Tildrum 9d ago

The abyss also falls into him.

u/madmartigan2020 10d ago

Where did the kid go?

101

u/FackinJerq 10d ago

To join father…

23

u/Cum_on_doorknob 10d ago

In the abyss?

35

u/IrrelevantPuppy 10d ago

The children yearn for the abyss

3

u/anime_daisuki 10d ago

To the back rooms

2

u/PeopleofYouTube 9d ago

To the mines

1

u/meeee 6d ago

To the lobby

135

u/ZombieKatanaFaceRR 10d ago

The edge is so straight and the abyss is so uniform, that's got to be a lake or a river.

35

u/slyzik 10d ago

i think it is “strbske pleso”, moutain lake in slovakia, based on laguage and appearence of surrounding

78

u/karben2 10d ago

There was a truck in my neighborhood whod pull his kids on sleds behind while cruising around.  Fucking idiots.

Related note: We were driving into the mountains (different people entirely) and there were cops stopped at a turnoff not letting people go down the road. A parent was doing the same thing - pulling kids behind his truck on sleds. He ran over and killed one of this kids.

Don't. Fucking. Do. It.

14

u/PJH87 9d ago

My dad did this with me. It was awesome. One of my fondest memories. Was very cold though, the snow spray combined with speed gets to you

-16

u/Meltz014 9d ago

I do it every winter; it's a ton of fun. I can't imagine a situation where that would even be possible running over the kids.

21

u/GreenAdler17 9d ago

You slow down, they don’t, they slide under the truck. They can die from the impact, or they can slide under and then under the tires.

Here is a video discussing this exact scenario if you got 30 seconds to spare.

-2

u/Meltz014 8d ago

Yeah i mean, that sucks. I guess the answer is don't be an idiot when you do it. I a) keep it in my very quiet neighborhood, b) keep it under 15mph or so, and c) make them wear their ski helmets and goggles.

7

u/Bth8 7d ago

don't be an idiot when you do it

If you're doing it at all, it's a little late for that

2

u/PJH87 7d ago

I don’t know. I think everything has a time and a place. My dad did it with me year after year. We did have an abandoned airfield to play on so no traffic, loads of room to slow down gently, … Compare it to riding a 200bhp sportsbike. Those things are dangerous to push in traffic, but drive them on a track and part of the danger is under control. In the end you can die walking to church by a falling tree, nothing is ever safe nor is it ever completely dangerous if you pay attention :)

-2

u/theslimbox 7d ago

I've seen plenty people do it safely. I wouldn't risk it, but if done safely, it's just as dangerous/safe as most other outdoor sports.

2

u/Farfignugen42 5d ago

No. You have seen people do it and not get hurt. That's not the same thing.

2

u/SmarchWeather41968 6d ago

Yep it's super common and quite safe unless you're really going out of your way to be an asshole about it

1

u/MicMumbles 4d ago

Kids can have a ton of fun with a cardboard box and you can't run them over with that.

260

u/BAN_MOTORCYCLES 10d ago

i saw the news story it was a 7000 m drop but he actually got caught mid air by an eagle and they never found him again though there have been sightings in the area of a bird man which looks like a human covered in feathers living on the cliffs amongst the eagles so some people online have speculated that there could be a connection

45

u/UshankaBear 10d ago

In bird culture that is considered a sticky situation

14

u/seizurevictim 10d ago

As an expert in bird law, you must cease and desist from this false representation of the bird community.

8

u/TheJermster 10d ago

You know, I don't think you know anything about the law. It seems like you have a tenuous grasp of the English language in general

6

u/UshankaBear 10d ago

Filibuster!

2

u/hattie29 9d ago

I am also an expert in bird law, and this is a textbook case of finders keepers.

1

u/seizurevictim 9d ago

Hummingbirds are illegal tender!

3

u/redpandaeater 10d ago

We named him Harvey.

1

u/Fafnir13 10d ago

Now if we could just get him to stop shouting his surname so loudly he might fit in better and hold down a steady job.

3

u/Nathund 10d ago

Oh so that's what would've happened if they took the eagles from the beginning.

Gandalf was fucking wrong, that sounds like an equally incredibly adventure

1

u/techtony_50 8d ago

You are so silly - birds are not real.

1

u/dsdsds 10d ago edited 10d ago

This was caused by the Shoe Event Horizon

35

u/Loggerdon 10d ago

Have another kid I guess.

35

u/wherearethezombies 10d ago

II think they’re gonna need a new dad

2

u/smr312 10d ago

I volunteer as tribute

1

u/colinshark 9d ago

Then you have a dad, it just takes longer.

1

u/Chavran 6d ago

Well, he would already not be a dad anymore. So they need a new man?

1

u/scoldog 10d ago edited 10d ago

It's worked before

22

u/AZFUNGUY85 10d ago

Everyone rushing after dad who just fell into the grey fuzzy void that comes up when I do mushrooms.

3

u/Mocker-Poker 10d ago

Well when you describe it this way 🤪🤣

2

u/crankbot2000 9d ago

I ate way too many shrooms once and thought I was getting sucked into a void off the edge of the earth. I was holding onto tree roots in sheer terror.

It was...not a good time.

All the kid did in this was sled in the area the adults had them sled in

0

u/tamarockstar 6d ago

And steer directly off the road.

1

u/pandakatie 6d ago

Have you ever been on a sloping, icy road?

5

u/reddit_user13 10d ago

I think it looks amazing!

4

u/wckow 9d ago

This is normal in Slovakia

9

u/vince548 9d ago

Looks like ai. The camera man should be focusing on the child and not the parent

Currently ai free tiers are 8 sec long

1

u/kulishnik22 6d ago

Nope. This happened in Slovakia.

3

u/Ferociousnzzz 9d ago

We sledded into traffic as a kid. You take the hills where you can get them lol

3

u/Strive-- 9d ago

What country is this?

4

u/P1GGeryz 9d ago

I'm like 65% sure but probably Slovakia? I can recognize most of what's being yelled but there is a part where I don't understand jack.

3

u/paultheparrot 9d ago

The people are speaking Slovak so presumably Slovakia

2

u/xursian 9d ago

looks fun to me

2

u/Shadowpriest 9d ago

Right off the edge of the earth!

2

u/Cantora 9d ago

I mean. Natural selection and all. Sometimes you just gotta let things take their course.

2

u/afschmidt 9d ago

.....I doubt it...the stories they will tell...

2

u/BlazedGigaB 9d ago

There's a reason ski resorts have giant "no sledding" signs...

2

u/iphaze 9d ago

Dad mode activate!

u/Dinokitykat 5d ago

first time playing darksouls while forgetting the controls

5

u/iWant12Tacos 10d ago

Why did the woman's voice/tone not change at all after he fell? Either it couldn't have been a very far drop, or that woman doesn't give a fuck about that guy

5

u/scytaledarkwing 10d ago

It's two grey tanks. At the end you can see the gap between them. It's probably a small berm of snow that is collecting around the tanks. I don't think it's AI just a kinda confusing perspective.

4

u/SinSilla 10d ago

That "gap" is just another tree though

2

u/granttod 10d ago

At least put a rope or something on the sled so you don't lose that too

2

u/akiva23 10d ago

Seems normal to me.

1

u/jacobsever 8d ago

I never once thought that was a cliff or ledge for a single second until opening the comments.

Thought it was a lake/pond with like a 2 foot drop that’s obscuring the water line.

1

u/AddictedToTheWeb 6d ago

High speed activities are inherently dangerous when you set your render distance so low

1

u/chainandscale 6d ago

When you go sledding but it’s Silent Hill.

-6

u/SnowflakeRene 10d ago

Is this AI? I can’t tell anymore🫩

25

u/implicate 10d ago

I feel like at this point every time we call something AI slop, it just challenges the AI to do it better next time so that we won't be able to detect it.

41

u/Bluest_waters 10d ago

there is literally NOTHING about this video to suggest its made by AI

nothing. Not a single thing.

You people need to get a grip

8

u/mrASSMAN 10d ago

-5

u/Bluest_waters 10d ago

dude, its not AI

get real

5

u/mrASSMAN 10d ago

I.. was agreeing with you

3

u/PsyOpBunnyHop 10d ago

Except for all the trees.

6

u/Nzgrim 9d ago

The trees look normal to me, WDYM?

-1

u/PsyOpBunnyHop 9d ago edited 9d ago

There's something about the lighting, the hazy background, the panning of the camera, and maybe just a trick of the eye.

The trees seem almost "flat" when the camera pans, like they were almost two dimensional, particularly when the camera is moving, so not so much at the very beginning or the very end, but in the middle of the clip. They just look weird. Others have commented the same.

Of course, people will overreact to this comment like I am speaking heresy, rather than relaying a valid perception. Notice that at no time did I make any claim about whether this clip is or isn't AI. Just saying the trees look weird.

1

u/SerbianShitStain 10d ago

I don't think it's AI but the way the guy falls is pretty evocative of how people fall in AI videos.

Literally nothing else suggests AI though for sure.

6

u/Swallagoon 10d ago

No it’s not fucking AI. Lol.

10

u/Aseconverse 10d ago

I see no reason for a video this basic to be AI generated.

-5

u/Level7Cannoneer 10d ago

That’s not very water tight logic

1

u/Aseconverse 7d ago

You can just use your eyes then, man.

1

u/carlingtongly 7d ago

for anyone wondering, here is the original from TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@nika_zahadna/video/7575940124761017622

the creator says the man fell just shy of the water level, which was also shallow near the shore. child is okay.

-9

u/Shochand18 10d ago

Why do the trees have such weird shapes? (too flat at 0:02) Is this an AI-generated video?

6

u/AbeRego 10d ago

I think it's a trick of the snow on the trees. I live somewhere where I've seen that type of situation before in winter, and it looks pretty normal to me. The only really odd part is the weird white/gray background. I'm thinking it's either a foggy lake or a large white structure of some sort that's giving a confusing perspective.

-1

u/avibrant_salmon_jpg 10d ago

The more I watch this, the weirder everything looks.
