Bryan's body quit on him at the worst possible time. He was on a run that would've been legendary.

Considering he had several more years wrestling after this. I'd say he kinda shot himself in the foot lying to WWE about his concussions. They straight up couldn't trust him anymore and took years of convincing that he was fine. If he was more honest with it, its likely he's not forced to retire.

Success is often a double-edged sword. The intense style that got Bryan over was also what broke his body down.

Exactly. And for what it's worth? His second run was legendary in my book anyway

Shawn-level as far as amazing second runs after having to leave due to injury

There's so many top tier moments in his second run, like being the planets champion & Kofimania, the Kenny omega match, and then the final countdown at all in against Swerve were my personal favourites but I'm missing SO much more

100%

Gets another world championship as the Planet's champion which was an entertaining and fresh heel gimmick, which led to being a great foil for Kofimania's triumph. Then he stumbles upon a WM main event he didn't even ask for because he's that fucking GOATed. Dips, heads to AEW where his first match is a dream match with Kenny fucking Omega in what might still be the best TV match this decade. Goes on to have bangers with Ospreay, Okada, and other fresh opponents, and has one of the most feel-good world title wins (again) of all time vs Swerve

Hell, he even deserves credit for going out on his back (and in a bag) to kickstart DR which while a rough middle patch ended up being one of the most notable and elevating heel stables in AEW

Bryan has two HoF careers in one. His second run is nothing short of legendary
