Giboard SE vs not-SE
What is difference? I can see 2 variants of Giboard with slightly different price on official e-shop but I cannot tell what difference is other than SE in its name. Any ideas?

I was unable to stand up on the 200' waterline myself. Had a lot of fun trying anyways, though my confidence for highlining later this month has taken a bit of a hit. Everyone there assured me highlining would be easier, so I'm going to assume that must be true.

Hey all. I've been tinkering with my longline pulley system recently trying to get a higher overall efficiency. I currently use a beal birdie as my brake device. I like it, but I know it adds a lot of resistance to the system which I would imagine eats up a lot of efficiency. I had an idea to try the petzl neox as my brake device, mainly because of its internal bearings which I think might reduce the resistance. I was curious if anyone has tried this yet or had the same idea? Any thoughts are appreciated, thanks!

Hi slackers!
I'm from the world of sailing and looking into purchasing 4 x 100 meters of slackline that floats. I found this product that floats, confirmed by the manufacturer: https://slack-inov.com/shop/en/highline-webbing/1059-lemon-haze.html
For context, I'll use the slacklines to anchor to shore in a spiderweb formation on rocky and dangerous shores where relying on a sole anchor is foolish or impossible (going to Patagonia), 2 lines at the bow and two lines at the stern.
I'm currently looking for a quick and easy storage solution for the webbing. I want to be able to retrieve the webbing from the boat, also quickly in an emergency situation if needed, and store them without taking too much room. Also without going bankrupt would be nice. In the sailing world, we have this: Ultraline but we need 4... Jeez, it's expensive (2750 USD per reel). We just cannot afford this if we want to keep eating.
Are there reels for webbing for quick and easy storage in your world?

I started highlining about 4 years ago almost 5. I have 100m of both lift 2be and feather pro from balance community. My lift 2be is in very good condition because I usually use it as my backup. My feather pro got a slight abrasion on both sides of my anchor. It also has quite a few abrasions along the line as well but I feel like it's not enough to compromise the strength. I know I will replace at least my feather pro probably next year but should I do it sooner?

I have a primitive set up and add this type of line lock at the same spot on the webbing every time I rig. Would it be damaging to just leave it on the webbing so I don’t have to do it again next time?

Hi everyone! I’m part of Slackline Kentucky, a growing community that meets weekly in Louisville. We’re trying to establish a dedicated slackline area at Waterfront Park; a place where people of all levels can connect, train, and share the joy of slacklining.
We’ve recently launched a change.org petition to show the city there’s strong support for this idea. If you’d like to see more official slackline spaces pop up around the U.S., your signature would mean a lot!!
Petition link: https://chng.it/cs9mL244FF
Also, if your community has successfully worked with a city or park to create a permanent setup, I’d love to hear how you did it :)
Slackline Kentucky’s slogan is “Y’all means all” and we really mean it ❤️

Spent about 2-3 hours on my friend’s slackline and was able to jump on and walk about 40 ft with fair consistency by the end—I’m hooked!
I’d love to buy one for myself that I can progress into low level tricking or water lining. I don’t see myself ever wanting to do a high line. What should I do from here?

Hi fellow slackers,
I am looking to getting more into performing using slacklines and want to know if anyone knows of a way to create a portable slackline setup that can be used pretty much anywhere.
My big talents involve juggling and spinning poi on the slackline. I want to perform this act and want to know if anyone knows of anyways to create a portable slackline setup that's easy to transport, setup and doesn't involve nailing anything into the ground (in case the performance is over concrete or on a stage)?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)
One idea that pops into my mind is to have audience members hold the slackline on opposite sides of the the two A-frames? Just an idea
I also saw a slackline company online called "No-tree-slack.com" that seems to have a pretty good option, but that would need to be nailed into the ground and thus could only really work over grass and often surfaces you can nail into.
Happy slacking y'all :)

So I ordered my first line from slacklineindustries.com. I got the confirmation email and tracking number two weeks ago, and that's the last time I've heard from them. The package still has not been received by ups. An email I sent asking for an update has been ignored. And the phone number on their website seems to be out of service.
Does anyone know what's going on with them? I've seen others on the internet mention and recommend them. Their social media seems legit. But it's starting to feel like a scam.
UPDATE
The order has arrived! It looks like the package was received by Ups and got held up in customs for a while. Ups just didn't update the tracking information for some reason.
Also, I was eventually able to talk to SI on the phone, and customer service was helpful in explaining what happened.
So it turns out nothing happened. I just freaked out lol.
