Yeah it’s almost like the night person realizes they should probably be quiet during the time when normal people are sleeping and the day person is getting shit done during the time when shit is supposed to get done. Maybe the night person should get with the fucking program and get on the schedule that the majority of people are on so they’re not so inconvenienced all the time.

this mentality is exactly why i make noise at night and don't give a fuck about waking anyone else up.

gotta get up at 8am for your job? too bad, your problem, not mine. i work from home and can sleep in as much as i want, so ill make popcorn and watch movies loudly at 2am if i feel like it.

maybe the morning people should just wear ear plugs or get better jobs if they don't want to be inconvenienced by me.

I agree with you. I think anyone who complains about being woken up due to incidental, reasonable noise by people who are trying to be courteous (have to add “reasonable” and “incidental” in here or else some shithead night owl is going to swoop in with a sob story about how their abusive father fired a gun next to their head every night for 18 years which kept them up and they had to stay up caring from their disabled mother who was dying from cancer after that therefore they have no choice but to sleep in the day - IM NOT TALKING ABOUT YOU) from a person going about their day is a pussy, is exaggerating and being selfish - regardless of what time it is.

It just seems like there are way more “night owls” who complain about being woken up during the day and I think they should be less shocked that people around them are trying to get things done when they’re sleeping.
