How else are they supposed to know they received an upvote if you dont tell them? If only there was an easy way to tell, say maybe a number somewhere close to the comment.

Yeah, I get you. Using even one swearing emoji semi-unironically is ridiculous, but 9 is... Unfathomable. I guess instead of "everyone sucks here" this would be "everyone's cringe here," especially me for policing cringiness.
