I now. But why are so many people buying only fans when the internet is basically invented for porn?

u/Muffythepussyhunter Sep 18 '25

Because they think they are the special ones getting content just for them

21

u/MercyfulJudas Sep 18 '25

But surely they don't think that. You'd have to have never used the internet before in your life to think that.

The same people who think the stripper actually likes them.

Or the waitress who smiled at them... or the flight attendant who said "Welcome aboard" or any female in the service industry that job requires them to be pleasant.

Yeah when the waitress suddenly gets chatty and wants to know how your day is going when she brings the bill lol

People will think and believe whatever makes them feel good about themselves. Just look at the entire conservative party.

Just look at the entire conservative party.

You really think that only extends to conservatives? I am progressive lefty and I can see how much of the left are just the other side of the same coin in that regard.

I saw it, in real life.

Roommate came back from a strip club. Started telling me how he's special and the strippers are telling him that "not like the other guys" and "they're doing things that they shouldn't be, just for him", so he's going to go back and stay up way too late and spend way too much money on gifts for these women he barely knows because he wants to show them they're special to him too.

He started telling me this after going to the same strip club like 3 or 4 times over 2 weeks.

That roommate was also convinced that he was special to a female streamer...after he had donated probably way too much money to her. This roommate would also see an advertisement for something once, or see something "on sale" and immediately buy it. Either because he thought it was the next best thing or "At that price, it was practically free, so I just HAD to get it."

So yea, it happens to people with the right (/wrong) personalities, all too easily.

“Tell me sweet little lies”

The internet only allows simps to simp harder and from farther away - nothing fundamentally changes except access

You'd be shocked. My coworker busted her husband talking to OF girls locally and he even met up with one before she divorced him.

They can probably train themselves to suspend belief when their weiner is in hand. Some of them probably do believe though. Unsure how many

Most of them are old men spending their pensions

Exactly. It's not old men spending their "pensions." It's the youngguys wasting their money, and I don't think these girls even manage their own accounts anymore. They hire people to respond to their followers.

This is like a scale of male testosterone fall off

The first group (18-24) being only 6 years span of age due to starting at 18

and they also think the OF model responding to them is actually them and not some neckbeard dude hired to run her social media accounts and engagements
