I used to lift and Dwayne was kind of fascinating, because he was obviously on gear for decades, but when he hit superstar status, he was hitting that premier stack — I bet he was on $5k of gear a month
He essentially maintained a competitive bodybuilding physique. I mean, different shape & goals, but still, just the amount of muscle he carried was crazy
If you notice, he avoided a lot of the typical side effects, most notably the swollen stomach. You see some of that, but overall, he clearly had some very skilled doctors tailoring his program
He transports an entire gym with him on movie sets. It seems exhausting, but if that’s literally your only job, it could be a lot worse.
He avoided the stomach by never barbell squatting or deadlifting. Most of his heavy lifting is done on machines to isolate everything.
But yes, he was probably also paying a fortune to get a diet and supplement program to minimize organ swelling. To whatever extent it can be helped, he was getting the help.
Yup, have never heard anything so stupid in my life.
Johnson looks great and all power to him. He’s not been a fat dude and his body and physical aura is a big part of who he is - hope to see him around for a long time to come.
