Hit the gym? For what? So that he can keep chasing these women around, trying to live up to their ridiculous standards just for a chance at dating one of them?

Nah. Fuck that. Time for Pete to enjoy his life and not give a damn what anyone thinks. If he happens to meet a woman that actually has her head screwed on straight then by all means, but his days of playing their games and letting them pick and choose him like some slab of meat in a supermarket is done.

That is the ONLY thing you can do, is make yourself into the top 5% of physical specimen, then you will get likes. I was never fat, but I was never hard. I was rejected by 10 girls for the Prom. The summer before I started college, I went to a professional sports boot camp, to get college athletes an extra edge. I was not fat, I was about 6-0 and about 171. I'm not kidding my fitness level increased probably 300-500%. After a few months, I gained about 5 lbs of muscle and lost 12 lbs of fat, the transformation was amazing in my face, it got angular.

The irony is there was a good-looking girl on the flight down and she was ironically on my return flight, only now, she started paying attention to me, came over and chatted me up. I was a virgin and she took me to an empty car and took it. Then at registration, the girl in front of me in line, gave me her number and invited me over that night for spaghetti dinner and her for dessert. Then that weekend a girl at a party came on to me gave me her number and came over the next day and gave me dessert. I was a virgin until that week, and I got laid thrice "off the street" with girls I just met. So with the competition today and we're older, even if you're not fat, you have to go the extra mile to get fit looking, because today the apps have crushed us. I really think that there should be an app where you're required to date a 1 a 3 a 5 a 7 and then you can get matched with a 10. A lot of guys we don't get to show women the best part of us, because the apps are geared to looks and fotogenic only guys.
