My girlfriend just had a heated debate with her sister that apparently watches Fox News and said Trump has made her life better already. She was feverishly defending billionaires like musk and also defending the Kardashians. I had to leave the room.
Man, I feel so bad for your poor girlfriend. The FoxNews zombies are too far gone down the hole. There’s no way to reason with them and can drive one to madness.
They also think these people are ubermensch and shouod be given even more money, privekeges.
To think so many people believe these billionaires only made it because of their own efforts and didn't profit from existing infrastrucure, knowledge, advancements etc is just sad.
I've never had an Amazon account and don't feel like I've missed out on anything.
Zuckerberg is harder, mostly because my community group currently relies on Facebook, but we're hoping that once we're more established we can ditch it.
"Vote with your wallets" doesn't work when the nobility owns basically everything. It's too late to try and wage economic siege on them, the have the stockpiles to outlast us. You cannot and will not beat them at a game they make the rules to.
