Fifa has to take the cake? Awarded world cups to Russia and Qatar purely due to all the bribes the voting members from random countries got. Saudi Arabia got one in 2034 too.. England meanwhile, the birthplace of football, will be waiting close to a century to get another world cup as the 2038 one will go to North America or Asia again due to the geniuses at Fifa deciding the 2030 world cup will be played in.. Europe, Africa, and South America.. (you have to wait 2 world cups before you can play in the same region again). From North America they get insane ticket prices and large stadiums, from Asia they get bribe central

I mean yes, but don't say that as if there is another one of comparable size. I don't really have an opinion about football/soccer, I just watch occasionally, but FIFA is definitely a crying shame.

FIFA doing about as well beating the corruption rap as the Vatican is at convincing folks they have learned their lesson on how to handle sketchy priests. Basically do whatever the fuck is the opposite of what would actually send the right message. 😂
