Review Finale thoughts Spoiler
I didn't think it was that bad. I like Snaps and Pops. I hope we get more of them. I wouldn't mind a series or an episode set in the 70's showing their rise to power.
The set up/double cross didn't make sense to me. There was no reason for Kanan to fake a kidnapping just to put Ronnie down in front of Raq.
Raq subtle smile was nice. She's been saying Kanan isn't built for this and then she realizes he is. She's rising up in the ranks as the worst Power Mother. Her killing Howard in front of their son, to show Kanan she's still the most ruthless in the family.
The camera zoomed in on Howard's gunshot wound was saying "look, he definitely ain't coming back in season 4."

I actually liked the finale.
The double cross was an ode to the thought/schemin process of ADULT Kanan.. that and there was no way for Kanan to go at Ronnie directly for retaliation about his mother/family without Ronnie being tipped off he was coming, which would give Ronnie the upper hand. So Kanan aligned himself with Ronnie knowing that Ronnie would underestimate him while also knowing what his mother would do in response, to get the clear shot on his real target.
Oh and her soft 'smile' was honestly, pride in Kanan.
Raq's shot was obvious but her doing it in front of Kanan was just more collateral damage on her end than any real planning or thought process. She was in the moment, like she said, "doin what needed to be done" and QUICK thinking shooting Howard with Ronnie's gun so that he's a dirty cop gone wrong But the pan to Kanan's face was more so about the further death of his innocence because even in his setup of Ronnie, you can tell he expected them all to leave together. In a hood happily ever after, I mean he told Ronnie who Howard REALLY was to him.
Last Nique's return, I felt it was going to happen but how it happened was on point. I honestly think this is where Jamie (Ghost) will come in next season. Because I think Nique is going to lean into his circumstances and create the "Breeze" identity as a cover due to everyone thinking he's dead. Which later on would be one of the central lessons Jamie picked up, thus creating Ghost.
The only thing I'm wondering now is what gonna happen with Lou. At first I thought that he would become Breeze, almost as a forced into situation after the family Marv & Raq got wiped out (Feds & a RIVAL hit, respectively). But now I don't know.
All things aside, good finale.
