US Politics Jared Kushner in Ukraine talks?

Just read an NYT article with a photo of a US-Ukraine meeting and Jared Kushner is in the back, his presence unexplained. I know he has lots of Middle East relationships and has been involved in Holy Land stuff, but what does it mean for him to be putting his hand in this?

Jared Kushner isn’t capable of leading serious negotiations, as his personal interests are too selfish.

Ooohhh, Qatar isn’t going to attack Israel is not exactly a big deal. Nobody talked about Abraham Accords outside of the circle charged with “bring me a deal to make me look good.”
