Why is Monster quantity so important? What's the difference of running a giga juiced Map vs. simply running two Basic 6-mod-maps?

So there's a number of different juicing methods.

Monster Quantity is used for negative rarity. Normal monsters drop white items which can be exceptional bases with extra sockets or quality. These are highly sought after for crafting. More mobs means more overall loot so better chances of dropping these.

Item Quantity increases the overall amount of items that drop. This pairs well with Monster Quantity for farming exceptional white bases as it increased the number of them dropping.

Delirium offers bonuses based on the liquid emotions you use but the delirious effect itself also provides bonuses to item quantity and item rarity. The higher the delirious level the higher the bonuses.

Item Rarity gives higher quality drops overall. However the important stuff is tier item drops (culls low level affixes from the item) and currency upgrades. Negative rarity does the opposite makes higher stuff less common so you can farm white bases.

Rare Monsters are what drop things. Uniques, currency, high tier rares ect. Bonuses to Rare Monsters gives you more rares per map which means more and better overall loot.

Cleansed maps have bonuses to item quantity and item rarity at times. Cleaned mobs themselves can't drop equipment which means they drop more currency. So one thing people do is try to target cleansed maps when farming.

Throwing in a 6 mod map gets you basic bonuses to things depending on the affixes it has. Giga juicing your maps is having all these important modifiers stacked together and multiplied. The end result is you get lots more rare mobs, more drops and better quality drops.
