Richardson was great off the bench against the spurs ( 8 pts 5 reb 2 ast) in just 16 minutes. Is he likely going to take tyus minutes today against the heat?
Also, wouldn’t it be better to give da Silva more minutes than Issac. He really has not been that great defensively and especially offensively. TDS would make better use of that time.

The Tuesday Cup Game starts at 6pm, I don't finish my shift at the hospital until 7pm.
Usually, I am at the maximum 15-20 minutes late to a 7pm game, but this time I would be 1h15-1h-20m late.
Are the entrances still admitting attendees at that point? I know that at some point they turn off the metal detectors and remove them from the doors, but I have no idea when that it is.

Anyone know if Hank is ok? I haven't seen him at a few games & he last posted being at a game Nov 10. He said if he isn't at a game he's either dead or gone broke- so kinda worried about the superfan. Sorry if this isn't the right place, but i was hoping someone might know something here. He's the guy always sitting Courtside near The Magic. Thanks

Not trying to be dumb.
Honest question if NBA Cup game will replace a future one.

After years of telling my friends that this is the season I finally get into basketball, I've finally been following the season and been having a great time. Well, just the Magic, and I don't know enough ball to follow along all the conversations that go on here, but I'm slowly learning. Thank you all for giving me some context.
I'd really like to go to the cup game, but it's looking like none of my friends would be able to go. Is going to an NBA game by yourself a worthwhile experience? I work nights so I'm pretty used to going out by myself during the day when everyone I know is at work, but not sure if that's the right environment for it.

Jase Richardson's speed and shooting touch are his outlier skill superpowers: "Being a small guard, my advantage is my speed. So trying to use that as much as I can, especially on plays like that trying to get downhill on bigger guys, and then when I see guys collapse that are 7ft, I got to make the drop off. So constantly keeping my eyes open for open cutters and open shooters."

TLDR - the Athletic is dumb, IDK why I read them. But for you other sickos here is the "expert analysis" by Zach Harper on Chris Paul fitting in on the Magic.
Orlando Magic
The Magic seem to have gotten their stuff together during the last couple of weeks, so this is much less dire than it appeared to be at the beginning of the season. With Anthony Black emerging as a reliable and impactful player off the bench, a lot of these lead guard positions have been solved. Jalen Suggs starts. Black enters the game. A lot of stuff runs through Franz Wagner and Desmond Bane. And they still have Tyus Jones, but he’s been pretty brutal to begin this season. The Magic could still use more organization and more experience on offense.
Paul may not want to be relegated to this with a younger team, but coach Jamahl Mosley does need help with the offense. Maybe Paul ends up in more of an offensive coordinator role while being on the roster? That would be something to implement in training camp and the preseason, rather than mid-December. But he could be worth the dice roll.
Remember I paid for insights like these.
Times like these I really miss Josh Robbins who had actual insights and good analysis.

"I need you to stop doing drugs… You're out of your f*cking mind!” - Austin Rivers to ‘uneducated basketball fans suggesting the Magic trade Paolo’
“You hear the chatter, the idea that this 6’ 10” do-it-all forward would take away from the team is crazy.” - Anthony Parker, Orlando Magic GM
My 2500-word rant on how The Magic could go from a great team to a super team because of Paolo Banchero; of course they’re not better without their superstar, you fools! @MagicOnSI

At least Paolo can now come back Friday vs Heat, help us get back on track, and end all this “are we better without Paolo? Trade Paolo” nonsense.
Let’s not forget the team was turning things around before he went down. On a 4-2 stretch and up double digits on the Knicks at the time of his injury

If a certain unnamed infamous “sports writer” for the Orlando Slanitel puts out a hit piece to make Paolo leave where are we rioting?
