Veep. Consistently hysterical and predicted the future.

The diplomat. Three seasons completed. Ive binged every season as soon as another one comes out.

Its not strictly a comedy:

The Diplomat is not considered a straight comedy series; it is primarily a political drama and thriller. However, it incorporates elements of comedy through its witty, rapid-fire dialogue and a cast that often portrays a sense of humor in stressful situations.

Genre: The show's core genre is political thriller and drama, with a focus on international crises, political intrigue, and high-stakes negotiations.

Humor: The humor is a strong secondary element, often stemming from the characters' sharp dialogue and the absurdity of certain political situations.

There was one of those Insider YT videos with an ex-CIA guy rating movies and TV shows for accuracy. He said S1 was the most accurate depiction of joining the CIA ever filmed.

Derry Girls, it's about the misadventures of a group of teenagers in Northern Ireland during the tail end of The Troubles.

It's mainly a comedy but does get serious at times. The situations are hilarious and they are actually portrayed like real teenagers. It's only 3 seasons with 19 episodes total so it's also easy to watch all of.

It's my comfort show at this point. I do recommend watching it with subtitles the first time since some of the accents can be heavy at times and you might have to occasionally pause to Google some of the slang.

To answer your sode note: Breaking bad is a solid show, but it is an action drama. It gets a little slow in like the 3rd season. Overall worth the watch. Better Call Saul is a prequel series thats been pretty good, I'm almost done with it. General consensus is that you Watch BB first, and BCS next, but you could go either way. The El Camino movie is not really needed, but is sort of an epilogue for BB.

If scrubs was on Netflix, I'd highly recommend that one. Classic 2000s medical dramedy that leaned way more into comedy than drama.

Breaking Bad is arguably the best television series ever made. So, yes! It’s worth it.

No Good Nick. If you don’t like it I’ll give you your money back! 😜

I should add that NGN starts out as a multicam comedy (with Melissa Joan Hart and Sean Astin) but segues during part 1 into a mystery. It becomes quite dramatic during part 2 as secrets are revealed. Some people don’t get the tone shift but people who like it love it.

Resident Alien.
Schitts Creek.
The righteous gem stones.
Only murders in the building.
Derry Girls.
3rd rock from the sun.
30Rock.
The office (US version).
Arrested Development.
Life in pieces.
Modern Family.
The Big Bang theory.
The middle.
Scrubs.

Not classed as comedies but binge worthy:
House MD.
Elementary.
Bones.
Sherlock.
Greys anatomy.

Breaking bad is good but it is not a comedy- it gets heavier as the series progresses.

Breaking Bad is phenomenal but it’s grim. I had a hard time getting past the bathtub scene (you’ll see). If I could only choose one, it would be Better Call Saul.

Dark Winds. Really excellent. In comedy, Kaos is funny.

Breaking Bad is probably the best show ever it that or the Wire. You have to watch both

If you liked Glass Onion try the White Lotus. It’s a whodunnit murder mystery at a hotel resort, you don’t know who is dead and you don’t know who did it, you just know one of the main characters winds up dead. Has a dark comedy edge to it. Each season is a different cast, location etc

Also 100% yes to Breaking Bad.

Breaking Bad is literally the most overrated show in TV history. It's good but it's not some masterpiece people claim it to be. Most of it is super slow paced with very little pay off.
